What a fantastic day in Basingstoke as TeenTech Hampshire brought schools from across the county together to find what working in the tech industries is all about. It was hard to believe that the Hampshire team could turn in an even better event than the brilliant day last year but hats off to Basingstoke Consortium who partnered with us to deliver an awesome event.

Companies not only brought examples of their leading science and engineering but had clearly put a huge amount of imagination into their challenges and interactive stands. Everywhere you looked ,teenagers were completely engaged, working as teams to learn more about industries ranging from pharmaceuticals to broadcast engineering, agricultural science to app design, 3D printing to prosthetic limb engineering.

And it wasn’t just the students and teachers who were impressed – companies were impressed by the intelligent questions and enthusiasm from students and  their bold future gazing on the Ideas Wall.
