At most of our events this year, we’re running a pre-event day to make the very best use of all the talent and technology we gather together. We hope our CPD sessions will be useful to teachers across all age groups

We’re really proud of a line-up at our events which will include talks from IT apprentices showing how you can have a great career without heading to University, “Connected Teachers” led by Dawn Hallybone sharing examples of best practice in the classroom,  Google and Computing At School with ideas on how to bring ICT to life , BG  group showing how engineers do far more than build bridges, BlackBerry showing you how to run a cipher workshop and Conrad Wolfram with his bold suggestions for what he thinks we need to do to make Maths exciting and relevant.

So if you’re a teacher, head teacher or a school governor – look out for  some great sessions and networking opportunities across our events. We’d also love your suggestions for workshops you feel would help support both your STEM teaching and knowledge about careers.

Our first dedicated event for teachers and head teachers is at TeenTechCity on May 13th where teachers can attend a number of CPD sessions and headteachers and school governors can join in a discussion about how business can support learning in school. There’s also a chance to explore our interactive exhibition and network with some of the top technology companies including BT, BBC, Atkins,Cisco, GSK, Thames Water, GlassEye, Canary Wharf Group, Sugru and London Underground. And to enjoy a very fabulous view across the Olympic Park from the Cisco House venue, which has been built on top of Westfield.
