Sponsors, companies, colleges and universities offer Innovation sessions which provide insight into their industry and inspiration and support for the TeenTech Awards.
They are all very different but will provide help and support for student projects together with an inspiring opportunity to experience an aspect of the company or university facility.
The BBC, GSK, Accenture, Rolls Royce, Coventry University, Atkins, National Rail Academy- Gateshead, TFL, London Zoo and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital -Stanmore are just some of the organisations who have opened their doors to TeenTech students.
The sessions are a unique opportunity to gain insight into world-class organisations and the opportunities that lie within them.

Join us for the day at Accenture’s London office to hear from and collaborate with data scientists from the Accenture Applied Intelligence team and learn how to take the very first steps to becoming a data scientist.
During the day you will take part in a series of hands-on activities data alongside some of Accenture’s data scientists to understand what they do on a day to day basis.
We’ll also be on hand to work with you to develop your TeenTech award entries, whether you’re entering the data science category, or just want to know how data can improve your project.
Who are Accenture?
Accenture is one of the world’s leading consulting and technology organisations, achieving amazing things for clients every day – whether increasing profits, gaining a greater market share or redefining strategies. We examine a client’s organisation to solve their toughest challenges, working out how best to drive improvements through the latest technology and digital solutions. Many of these technologies leverage data and the Applied Intelligence team works with this data on a daily basis, using cutting edge computational methodologies and tools to maximise the value gathered from this data.
Why is it important for all students to understand about data?
The amount of data created worldwide in 2019 is 40 times the amount that was created in 2010. Data is all around us and you are already using it without even realising.
It is becoming ever more important to develop methods and techniques to process, understand and use this data.
It’s one of the most in-demand and well- paid professions. So come and find out how your students could help shape the future of business.
