We’re thrilled to say the first TeenTech event in Portsmouth was a brilliant success and the date is already in the diary for next year! If you are a school or business in the region keep May 12th 2016 free.

Cath Longhurst, CEO of the Education Business Partnership who partnered with us to deliver the event said, ‘We have so many interesting local science and technology companies, this fantastic event enabled our young people to understand the huge potential for career opportunities in STEM on their doorstep’.

The feedback from schools was impressive with 100% saying they would ‘definitely’ attend again next time. And in the meantime schools are gathering teams to compete in the TeenTech Awards 2015/6, with a regional final to be hosted by  TeenTech Solent lead sponsor Highbury College.

Portsmouth water were working with us for the first time and if you’d like to know more about what that might mean – they’ve sent us a case study which captures their experience.

Companies were so keen to run activities and challenges that there was a waiting list. So next year the size and reach of the event will be extended to include schools in Southampton and South West Hampshire.

Here’s a video which captures what went on …
